Wednesday morning (20th)

This morning we took the camioneta (chicken bus) into Antigua and then headed up to a small town in the mountains called El Hato. There we sifted sand and mixed it with cement and water so that we could finish the out wall of the polideportivo (multi-sport court). Three other Berwick groups have spent time working at this particular school either painting or pouring the concrete floor of the polideportivo. Our first group came in 2004 and it is amazing to see how different it looks now. A lot of work has been done here by BA and many other groups. We will continue to work here every morning this week and next.
